The dispute between cosmetics manufacturer founder Mae Phat and her family has moved decisively into a battle over commercial assets, with the 63-year-old entrepreneur declaring she will pursue every legal avenue to reclaim control of her manufacturing facility.
The confrontation follows formal complaints lodged at Wang Thonglang Police Station against her son Benz and associated individuals over alleged unlawful confinement and the appropriation of property, including safe deposit assets valued at several million baht. Mae Phat stated her decision to pursue formal charges was driven by a perceived lack of accountability, noting that repeated attempts to contact her son and daughter-in-law had gone unanswered.
During a subsequent live stream, Mae Phat dismissed online rumors alleging financial improprieties and unpaid production fees as unverified claims lacking evidence, questioning why such allegations were never raised until after her public emergence.
Turning to the manufacturing enterprise—originally founded as PVB Cosmetic before being renamed Glam Laboratory under her son’s management—Mae Phat reaffirmed that the physical facility and specialized equipment belong to her, despite claims that subsequent renovations accounted for the business value. She publicly urged her son and daughter-in-law to answer her calls and reopen access to the premises, noting that if voluntary communication fails, ownership rights will be resolved through judicial proceedings.
During the broadcast, former factory managerial staff publicly voiced encouragement for Mae Phat, sharing archival photographs and expressing readiness to assist should she resume leadership of production operations.
Police investigations and civil claims regarding the facility and related financial disputes remain ongoing.
